The Best Time for a Destination Wedding

Anyone who has been lucky enough to meet the Love of Their Life can tell you: after they propose, you’re ready to Get Married at that moment. If the wedding could be tomorrow, nothing would make you happier. While it is understandable to be excited and want the wedding to happen as fast as possible, the reality of creating a Dream Wedding is that it takes time. This is especially true if you want a beautiful beach wedding in an exotic, faraway destination.

The good thing about planning ahead is that waiting just a little can have a big payoff: literally, a well planned-out wedding can end up costing you thousands of dollars less than one that is hastily thrown together.

Even better, it is usually more cost-efficient for your guests if they are given significant advance notice of the wedding date, so they can plan their expenses accordingly. The more financially feasible your Beach Destination Wedding is for your loved ones, the more likely it is that they will be able to attend and you will be able to share your special day with all of your friends and family.

So how far out should you be planning your Dream Destination Wedding?
The experts at Beach Honeymoons and Destination Weddings recommend that you aim for a date about 9 -12  Months after you become Engaged.

(though we can definitely help with weddings with much shorter time-frames)

This time range is the most beneficial for a number of reasons:

First, you do NOT want to rush the process of planning your beach wedding.
This is a special day that you will only get to live once, so you want to take your time and make sure everything is exactly as you imagined it would be. The Travel Consultants and Wedding Planners at Beach Honeymoons and Destination Weddings can work with you to make this dream a reality, and the more time you give them, the better deals they will be able to negotiate for you and your fiancé.
Imagine a beautiful ceremony on the beach, with stunning decorations, moving music, eye-catching flowers, and an absolutely gorgeous dress – all for a significantly reduced rate! The Travel Consultants and Wedding Planners can make it happen for you, and the more time you have to work with them, the more perfect your wedding will be.

Second, 9 -12 months is ideal for your guests to plan out their own trips to see you marry the love of your life on a beautiful beach.
If you start planning that far in advance, your guests can work with Beach Honeymoons and Destination Weddings to put down a deposit on their resort stay, and also to set up a payment plan to pay down the costs of their travel and lodging. If you give your guests enough notice, even those who may not have the money to pay for a flight and a hotel all at once can create a plan with Beach Honeymoons and Destination Weddings to pay their costs in increments, so that it will be more cost-friendly for them to come see you on your big day.

We know you’re itching to marry the man of your dreams, but take a moment to plan things out: 9 -12 months is the best timeframe to make your fantasy wedding come true.
